From Freida Pinto Net, I wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! What a year it has been for Freida! Slumdog Millionaire sweeped the award show seasons picking up Best Picture at the Academy Awards and Golden Globes as well as many other awards. An important one for Freida has to be being nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the BAFTAs. Freida then snapped up two films ready to be released in the new year! Now, Freida has been listed as the 9th Most Stylish Woman of 2009 by Vogue! Freida, we love you and will continue to support you throughout 2010! |

After a long hiatus, Freida Pinto Net is back and ready to get up to date with all Freida’s latest goings on. Firstly, I have added pictures of Freida at the 18th Annual BAFTA/LA Britannia Awards alongside boyfriend Dev Patel, Slumdog Millionaire director and friend, Danny Boyle and co-star Anil Kapoor. As you may of noticed, the site hasn’t been updated in a while, actually since Freida’s birthday and this is all down to some computer problems that I have been having. This happened exactly a year ago as well! Okay, so I am not leaving the site or closing it down, but merely just informing you of the site hiatus. Hopefully before Christmas, I will be getting a shiny new Macbook Pro for myself, which seems to handle the type of work I do on my computer and can continue updating the site with all the latest, exciting Freida news. I just want to say a huge congratulations and happy birthday to my girl, Freida Pinto! She has turned 25 today and how much has she accomplished in the space of a year! Over the past few months, I decided to take a short break from the site due to personal issues and the lack of Freida news. Now, Freida has been really active attending several events and I shall be updating the gallery over the next few days with all the Freida news I missed, also the gorgeous L’Oréal ads and more set pictures from the Untitled Woody Allen London Project. Welcome to Version 4 of Freida Pinto Net! I got bored pretty quickly of the last layout and felt like the site needed a fresh new look, and here we have it. You can view the stunning photoshoot which I used for the layout here. As well as updating the site, I have updated the gallery with hundreds of images from various events, scans and shoots. Most are old, but they needed to be added to the gallery from a while ago. The new event is of Freida at a party celebrating the Golden Globes hosted by T Magazine. She is pictured alongside Danny Boyle and Elizabeth Banks. Also, I have replaced some of the tagged photoshoots with untagged versions! I’ve still got loads to update with including the Slumdog Millionaire captures. Enjoy!

Sorry guys for the lack of updates, both me and Freida have been very busy lately. With me, I have been revising for and doing over 14 exams over these few weeks. I have now completed 7, so have 7 more to go! With Freida, she has been working terrifically hard on Miral which should be wrapped up soon. So many updates will be coming after my exams including DVD Captures from Freida’s debut movie, Slumdog Millionaire and maybe also a new layout to come! Please bare with me! |

It’s great to see some recent pictures of Freida! These are of Freida on the set of her Julian Schnabel film, Miral in Jerusalem, Israel. For the role, Freida has cut her hair shorter, which I think suits her just as much as longer hair. Below is a short synopsis on the film.
