Today, I have been busy adding loads of new images of Freida’s shoots in Vogue India, Elle and Empire and some misc shots! Freida looks absolutely gorgeous in all the images, however it’s a shame that some are heavily tagged, so once I get untagged versions, I will add them as soon as possible. Also, I have added an scan from the latest issue of Empire where Freida is featured on “The Hot List” with Megan Fox, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Amanda Seyfried and more. Enjoy!

This scan was made exclusively by Freida Pinto Net, so please do not take it without permission. Also, if you take it you must not remove the tags. Thanks!

The “Best Picture” of 2008 is coming to DVD! That’s right, Slumdog Millionaire is going to be coming to DVD ($29.98) and Blu-ray ($39.98) in America on the 31st March. Thanks to DVDactive for information on the extras below. We are sure that Freida will be featured in a vast majority of the Extras, so as soon as the DVD is released in the UK (where I live), we will have captures of everything to do with Freida. Get the release date on your calendars!

Extras will include a commentary by Director Danny Boyle and Actor Dev Patel, a second commentary by Producer Christian Colson and Writer Simon Beaufoy, a Slumdog Dreams: Danny Boyle & The Making of Slumdog Millionaire featurette, 12 deleted scenes, and a Slumdog Cutdown feature. Sorry, images have been a little late today, but it is all because a new layout is being planned right now for the site. I just need to change a few things, and then you’ll get a fresh new look to Freida Pinto Net. In other news, whilst in Milan, Freida was looking stunning at the launch of Dolce & Gabbana’s debut makeup collection along with a exhibition entitled “Extreme Beauty in Vogue”. We will have more pictures of Freida coming soon! More exciting news is pouring through as it has been rumored that Freida is the new face of Estée Lauder! I’ve been waiting for her to get a cosmetics deal, it’s about time she got one. Freida’s reps however commented on the claim, “We don’t comment on marketplace rumors.” Let’s hope the rumors true!

Just a reminder that Freida is on Tonight with Jay Leno… tonight! We should have the video and captures for you tomorrow so stay tuned. Meanwhile, I would like to mention the ongoing media frenzy on Freida’s personal life. The press love to bring someone down, however Freida isn’t budging. We would not normally post information about Freida’s personal life on here, but it is clear that Freida is now concentrating on her professional life, rather than personal. When asked about the engagement, Freida replied:

"At the moment, it is my profession that dominates my life. Now on, my life is only going to be about work for a long time to come. I am just enjoying my professional life at the moment. Are you interviewing me for

Slumdog Millionaire or are you trying to pry into my personal life? I am not interested in sharing my personal life with you. Do you have any proof (about the engagement)? No one has the right to spoil my happiness. It is my personal life and I don’t want to talk about it.”

Nicely said, Freida!

Freida spoke to the Toronto Star and talked about the huge success of Slumdog Millionaire and what’s next for her. It’s great to know that loads of scripts have come through.

Canada holds a special place in the heart of Slumdog Millionaire star Freida Pinto. Her film debut was first hailed here in September at its premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival. “This is only my second time in Canada and it feels special to me,” Pinto said minutes before being honoured by ANOKHI magazine at a recent gala. Raised in Mumbai, where the multiple Oscar contender Slumdog Millionaire is set, the former model and Asian-Pacific travel TV show host shared her feelings about her sudden fame, the controversy sparked by the film’s depiction of Mumbai life, and her future.

How has the success of Slumdog Millionaire changed your life?
Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine that this would happen. It has all been a blur since I started work on the film. Things pass at lightning speed, so fast I can never prepare for what’s coming, and I can scarcely believe what does happen. Suddenly my name is known all over the world. Paparazzi recognize me and follow me. I have found myself in Hollywood with the bosses of big studios, taking meetings at Warner Bros. and Sony Pictures. And, of course, I’m racking up a lot of Air Miles points…
