Here is my annual wrap-up of 2009! As mentioned previously, it has been a phenomenal year for Freida and we hope 2010 goes the same way for her! YOU can post your best bits of Freida in 2009 below in the comments section!

Best of 2009
The best news of 2009 has to be the whole sucess story of Slumdog Millionaire! Not only did it win multiple awards, but it shot Freida to fame across the world! People just took to her beauty and personality and now look at our Freida!

Worst of 2009
There hasn’t been any bad news for Freida in 2009! The only minor to 2009 was that we barely saw her during her shooting of Miral, but again … its only minor.

Freida’s one and only project of 2009 in which I’ve seen so far is Slumdog Millionaire, and what a film it is! A beautiful story of a Mumbai teen who’s life story is unravelled throughout the film as he is asked questions on the gameshow, Who Wants to be a Millionaire? which take him back to his life in the slums and his quest to find his true love, Latika.

“This industry is for fighters and those who do not give up! It is very important to believe in yourself. Even when a hundred people rejected me, I did not lose hope and finally one of the biggest directors of all times [Danny Boyle] believed in me! Also working in this film [Slumdog Millionaire] has taught me a lot, not just in terms of acting but also about myself, which is an integral part of being a good actor!

Most Anticipated Project of 2010
I am eagerly anticipating both of Freida’s projects, but the one that I am most excited to see at the moment would be You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger. I picked this because it still has a lot of mystery around the plot, like Woody Allen likes to do with his movies. Bring on 2010!
